Blast! band trip

The band trip yesterday was probably the greatest musical ever to be seen. Yesterday almost everybody that was in band went on the trip and it was spectacular. It took a long time to get there but it was all worth it. First everybody had to wait outside where it was freezing cold and it felt like we were frozen. Then we had to wait even more to let the musicians get ready. After the light went right out and all the smoke came out and laser lights. A bunch of musicians came out and started to play. I didn’t know what songs they were playing but they sure were good songs. They did a crazy drumming thing where they were playing these drums and the light went out and this big drum thing came out from the ceiling and they started to play it really fast. They had a part where they turned on the super violet light and the drums and the drumsticks glowed in the dark and it was insanely cool. At the end some musicians came off stage and they blew their instrument right in my ear, it was insanely awesome. Then after we went to Burger King, that was fun too.

Spit!

Spit is a famous card that is played during the morning, lunch, and any other time you have free. It is played by putting 2 cards, 10 cards stacked up in the middle and 2 more cards on the other side. The objective is each person says “123 spit.” Then quickly put our cards in order like ace, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, jack, Queen, King and then Ace again. If 2 cards are the same as you could stack them on top of each other & you could put 2 cards down instead of putting one by one. Then when you are done with all your cards try to figure out witch piles is smaller and then slap it as fast as you can. Then whoever wastes their cards first wins. If a person as no cards and they set up the opponent has to put a ghost card where the other opponent’s pile is suppose to be. If they win that match you say “one card no show” and if the opponent wins that match they win the whole game. So have fun playing and your opponents.
