Memorial Day
Memorial Day is the day in the calendar in which we remember the people who have died in service to our country. The United States created this day to remember the people who died in the Civil War, on the Union side. After World War I, they included all people who died in war for the United States. Memorial Day is on May 28th this year. Memorial Day is always on the last Monday in May. When you have the day off of school for this day, take a minute to appreciate what they have given all Americans for their sacrifice.
