Who is she? What is the name of that catchy tune?
Her name is Feist and the song is the first single off her newest album "The Reminder." Leslie Feist is a singer, songwriter, musician, and an a part-time member of the "Broken Social Scene." "This is her third album and the song "1 2 3 4" is featured on the iPod commercial for the new nano. Her music has been called folk, which isn't the way I look at it. It has a pop sound unlike other singers on the radio. "The new album is a breakthrough and one of the year's finest, pure and simple" says New York magazine. If you haven't heard of her, maybe you should try listening to her some time.

The Fratellis
Another band featured in an Ipod commercial are "The Fratellis." Their album "Costello Music" was released in September 2006 but scored a hit this year with their song "Flathead" as a result of being featured on an iPod commercial. They come from the UK (United Kingdom). The song "Chelsea Dagger" was used in a trailer for a movie. The songs that they make have a punk rock sound to them.
