Shea Stadium (William A. Shea Municipal Stadium)

This is the last season at Shea Stadium. It was built between 1961 to 1964 and was named after a man named William A. Shea, the man who brought back National League baseball to New York. The new stadium is called Citi Field and it is right behind Shea. I'm very sad that the team is moving to the new stadium but I'm happy that the stadium is going to be nice and new.

  • Cost of the stadium - $28.5 million
